Tennis is fun!

scary and fun!

hey peeps..today i attend my first lesson of tennis..

i went to the class with a mountain of nervousness in my stomach..hihi

cause this is my first time of learning this game so my feeling is mixing of scared,nervous, but at the same time excited!

but once i stepped into the class hearing what the lecturer said, i started to feel relax a bit..he asked us who never play tennis before..and a few people put up their hands including me, so i feel very relieved cause there are people who also same like me..hihi.

in this course it actually not weighing just on the skill of playing the tennis but  also including our fitness, skill to umpire a match, our power and strength, flexibility, speed and also basic knowledge about tennis,the court, the profesional players, the tournament etc..

the first theory lesson is about the court itself. how long and wide of the court, how high the net and also the fence also to note down. the lecturer or should i called him coach is very funny person..so it help me to understand things better.after an hour and half, we moved to the tennis court.ya!! this was the very exciting part.

we started with controlling the tennis ball with the racquet by bouncing and ‘menimbang’ it.hihi.we timbang the ball while walking so we can get used to it..ala2 sesi perkenalan dan beramah mesra dgn bola la. ;P

then we play mini tennis (by hitting the ball gently). coach ask me to play with him and demonstrate to others..wahh how embarrassing. i passed some ball but manage to play it well a bit after some shot..so it’s okla for the beginner..hihi

so we play mini tennis, then move to slightly bigger tennis which we have to do the serving and make sure just play inside the small box of the court.the partner is changeable and we got the chance to play with other students too.then coach ask us to play with partner who standing at cross court which we have to do the more challenging service and longer shot.

i play a bit messy today..haha.always hit the ball stronger than enough, it is like playing the real tennis not the mini tennis.. i love the backhand shot! and once i play with this guy, i think he ever play tennis before so the returned ball is always nice and i can do nice shot. while playing with him i feel like the real tennis player..(padahal bola die bg senang2)..hehe.

and the lesson was ended with flexibility and speed test..hoho..i am very surprised when coach tell us there will be a test!waa too early maa! that test  require us to run to the edge put a ball and come back then run again take the ball back..there are 5 balls to put at 5 edge.hoho sangat penat dan pening kepala jadinya..girls, to get 3 marks so we have to finish it below 50 sec..my time is 47 sec..so i pass!! yay!!

and we also got the topic for assignment already..coach ask us to read about tennis tournament..ok!! i’ll do it!! teruja i!! ;P

the next class is next week.. x sabau! but i am worried with fitness test nnt, we need to run and who finish first get higher mark..wah!! x mahu!!! girls need to run about 3 times circling the track. :(.. saya tidak fit utk ini..isk..isk..

as conclusion, learning tennis is really fun!! everyone should try it especially my housemates!! kawan2 jomlah main tennis bersama-sama!!
